Thyroid/ collar guard should be used in all examinations where the thyroid may be exposed to the main beam or to a considerable amount of scatter radiation. MALRAY thyroid guards are design to provide essential shield area to cover thyroid gland position and at the same time remain soft to reduce patient discomfort.
